High school students are assigned to one of six comprehensive high schools based on their home address. Once a home high school is assigned, the student may begin to explore the limited open enrollment options available to him or her by contacting the Guidance Department at their geographical home school.

You have three methods to find out what geographical home high school is assigned to your address.  Either 1) use our Home School Locator, or 2) email a request for an address check by contacting boundaries@hbuhsd.edu, or 3) call (714) 903- 7000 ext. 4720 for an address check.

Once you find out your geographical home high school, you must contact the guidance department at that high school to discuss enrollment and/or transfer options if they exist. Click on the high school name in the table below (not the map) to visit that high school’s home page.
