Important Changes to Your Unreimbursed Medical Expense Account Effective 2011
New employees can join within 30 days of their hire date.
PLEASE NOTE: To continue participation in either of these plans, you MUST re-enroll at open enrollment each year.
Participation in Section 125 and Dependent Day Care plans do not automatically continue year to year.

- You only have 30 days from the date the actual (qualifying) event occurred to enroll the new person on your insurance benefits.
- If you enroll more than 30 days after the “qualifying event your new dependent will not be added to any of our health and welfare benefits until the next open enrollment period becoming effective November 1st.
- You must bring your marriage certificate, certificate of domestic partnership, birth certificate, adoption papers, etc. BEFORE any changes can become effective.
