HBUHSD would like to give an update on the issue we experienced with the mass notification service provider Aeries Communication yesterday afternoon.  

 

On Wednesday around 3:00 PM, Aeries Communication had a programming error that caused a large number of unintended text messages, phone calls and emails to be sent out to our parents.  The error was the result of the service provider attempting to resend attendance notifications that were not sent out on Tuesday 4/23/19.

 

We have received assurances that the problem has been identified and resolved and they convey their sincere apologies for this incident.
