The HBUHSD has recently convened an English Learner (EL) Task Force that has been given the charge to examine the educational opportunities offered to students who are learning the English language. The Task Force is comprised of teachers, support staff, and administrators from across the district that will work collaboratively to critically examine our EL program and provide recommendations for future enhancements. The Task Force will meet several times throughout the spring to complete their work, allowing time to incorporate any recommendations into the district’s LCAP for the 2015-2016 school year.
