Familiar face to take the reins of the Edison Chargers “I’ve worked with Mrs. Graves for three years and have complete confidence that she is the perfect match for Edison High School,” Dr. Melendrez stated. “She brings a lot of experience to the position as well as enthusiasm, dedication, and Charger Pride.” “I am extremely honored that the Board of Trustees, Executive Cabinet, and the entire Charger staff have the trust in me to lead Edison High School,” said Graves. “I can’t wait to see where we as a team can take this amazing school in the future.” With 21 years of professional experience in the education realm, Graves takes the reins of the Chargers highly qualified. Prior to her three years as Assistant Principal at Edison, Graves worked for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) for 15 years as both an Assistant Principal and an Activities Director. Before that, she taught U.S. History and Physical Education. For six years, Graves and her husband David have resided in Huntington Beach with their two dogs and cat.
