Induction (Cohort)

HBUHSD New Teacher Inductions' mission is to provide support, prepare, and inspire our new teachers to meet the needs of all students through innovative learning. HBUHSD strives to help all of our new teachers reflect on their practice, grow as educators, and meet all professional criteria for clearing their preliminary credentials.

One of the key elements of the Induction program is to provide candidates and coaches with meaningful professional learning opportunities. Last year's Candidate PD series was extremely successful. The Coaches suggested that in the following years, the coaches (and all teachers) be given the opportunity to learn alongside the candidates during these learning experiences. So, that is exactly what we are going to do.
