VEBA

Who is VEBA?

At HBUHSD, employee benefits are purchased through California Schools Voluntary Employees Benefits Association (VEBA). VEBA provides health care benefits for education, municipal, and public agency employees.

To access more information about all that your VEBA coverage includes, please visit the MyVEBA portal at myveba.org.  Employees will simply need to provide their last name, last four digits of their social security number, and date of birth to access the HBUHSD page.  MyVEBA is a centralized hub with all your health plan information and key benefit details.  Access it through the desktop portal or the mobile app.

Your physical and mental well-being are both part of your whole health. One aspect of mental well-being that California Schools VEBA focuses on is self-regulation. Self-regulation is how we deal with stressors, and lays the foundation for everything else we do. It’s the ability to monitor and manage your energy states, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in ways that are acceptable and produce positive results such as well-being, loving relationships, and development.
